We’re looking for an Android Developer that is highly skilled in designing and implementing fantastic user-experience solutions. We used the word ‘determined’ because we’re looking for a developer that is determined to improve him/herself, the apps, and the company. The perfect new addition to our team will be strategic and have strong execution skills.
Job description
- Work with an agile team on technological innovation;
- Work with fellow talented developers, backend team and existing mobile team, to develop new apps and maintain the Android apps of our existing products;
- Work on Android-specific testing and debugging across all current device versions;
- You will be responsible for the application’s performance and compatibility.
Your skills
- Fluency in English;
- Experience in developing Android apps;
- At least an academic level in a Computer Science field;
- 2+ years of experience with Android in API level 18 and up
- The ability to identify technical requirements for the communication with other components and express them in a technical clear manner;
- Ability to identify and find open source libraries that should fulfill a certain purpose and integrate them into a project;
- The ability to quickly learn and adapt new programming concepts and the strong will to continuously improve development skills and keeping up to date with the latest technologies;
- Knowledge of and experience with RT(S)P, WebRTC, H.264 and MP4, AAC and other audio/video codecs is an advantage.
